In this Vista Alegre piece, the designer, André Carrilho, imagines Fernando Pessoa himself as a character in the artworks’ lives. When drawing these ashtrays, he sought to recapture the way in which as a child he saw and tried to decipher the intentions of the unknown masters in the works he found scattered around his home.
